A Gift for a New Lola

One of our favorite projects was a sweet gift from a daughter to her mom, who had just become a grandmother. She wanted something simple yet symbolic—a piece of jewelry that marked this new chapter in her life.

Her idea was a pendant that could also be worn as a charm on a bracelet. She asked if we could include the word “Lola” which is what her child will be calling grandma.

We sketched a circular pendant with a border of diamonds and a yellow topaz in the center—her mom’s birthstone. The design was elegant but still easy to wear every day.

She loved the draft, so we moved forward with production. The final piece turned out beautifully, and she was really happy with how it came together.
